Still no sign of missing Police Constable

A devastated and heartbroken mother, whose son went missing on June 19, 2020 is pleading with the public to help her find him.

Missing: Police Constable Quincy Lewis

Police Constable Quincy Lewis, who is attached to the Agricola Outpost, Greater Georgetown, went missing after leaving home for work.
His mother, Charlene Jordan, when contacted on Sunday, said she was hopeful that her son would return safely. She is, nevertheless, pleading with anyone who has information about his whereabouts to inform his family.
The woman said she made several visits to the Police Station since her son went missing, with the most recent being on Saturday, but she was told that they were still investigating the matter and making every attempt to locate the young man.
It was reported that Lewis visited his home on the day he disappeared to uplift a few pieces of clothes, since he was supposed to be inline (present at the station for extended duty). After collecting the items, the officer boarded motor car PTT 7541 and left his Lot 4315 Westminster, West Bank Demerara (WBD) home.
Since then, his family has not heard nor seen him. Lewis’s brother, Revon Jordan, had told Guyana Times that they learnt of Lewis being missing after the owner of the car in which he left came looking for him.
The brother added that Lewis’s family was under the impression that he was inline, since they normally do not hear from him when he is on the base. The frustrated brother underscored that it was strange for Lewis to leave without informing his family.
Meanwhile, Closed-Circuit Television (CCTV) surveillance recordings have since revealed that Lewis crossed the Demerara Harbour Bridge, which is less than 10 minutes’ drive from where he is stationed.
Anyone with information about Lewis’s whereabouts is asked to make contact with his family on 677-6547 or 680-1436, or contact the nearest Police Station.
