Struggling Zouks take on broken Tallawahs in desperate tussle for a win

CPL 2019 Match#24…

After suffering a morale- shattering defeat at the hands of the Guyana Amazon Warriors in their previous match, the Darren Sammy-led St. Lucia Zouks will host the out-of-form Chadwick Walton-led Jamaica Tallawahs in match number 24 of the Caribbean Premier League 2019, to be played today.

Jamaica Tallawahs

Either team has suffered from a poor run of form this season, and have each recorded just two wins in eight matches. They thus each desperately need to win this match, hence this encounter promises much entertainment for spectators and heartbreak for the fans.
When these two sides first met in this year’s CPL tournament, the Zouks had recorded a 7-wicket win, with Rahkeem Cornwall emerging their hero. The Zouks will both hope and expect that he would repeat his heroics. Moreover, their bowling department has the potent Fawad Ahmed, who is certainly a bowler to watch.
On the other hand, the Tallawahs will both hope and expect that Chris Gayle would record a memorable knock in this encounter, and that the dangerous Oshane Thomas would discomfit the Zouks batsmen with his pace bowling.

St. Lucia Zouks

Scenarios
The best call for the St Lucia Zouks is chasing a total, as they have a confident batting side. Their perfect scenario, should they win the toss, would be to field first. That way, they can restrict the Tallawahs from recording a commanding score, which would allow their batsmen to chase down an easy total.
The best strategy for the Jamaica Tallawahs, should they be asked to bat first, is to put a great amount of runs on the board, and challenge the Zouks to go for it.
