Forty-seven-year-old Ivor Richards of Suddie Housing Scheme, Region Two (Pomeroon- Supenaam) was discovered in his home, motionless, hanging from a rope around his neck.
According to information, the man may have committed suicide. Richard’s body was discovered around 08:00h on Tuesday morning by relatives who later informed the Police. It is unclear why the Suddie resident may have wanted to end his life.
After the report was made, the Police visited the scene and Richard’s body was taken to the Suddie Public Hospital where he was pronounced dead by a doctor. His body is presently at the Suddie mortuary awaiting a post-mortem examination.
Only recently a 21-year-old from Affiance also hung himself. He was an electrical engineer student.
