Sunshine Snacks power CPL

The Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) has been boosted by Sunshine Snacks for all of its 34 matches in its fifth edition.
According to a release, the League is delighted to welcome Sunshine Snacks as a partner for this year’s tournament which got underway yesterday when St Lucia Stars took on Trinbago Knight Riders.
“As part of this partnership the “Power Shot of the Day presented by Sunshine Snacks Nuts” will be awarded during each of the 34 Hero CPL matches this season”, as explained in the release.
The company has been in existence since 1974 and has produced an extensive portfolio of brands which have become an undisputable favourite of the snacking public and have found favour with customers all over the world.
The company’s manufacturing facilities are in Trinidad and they have distribution outlets in Jamaica, Barbados and St Lucia that send their products to more than 20 countries worldwide, reaching as far as Taiwan and Ireland. The Hero CPL has a wide-reaching presence in the Caribbean, and so do Sunshine Snacks, which makes it an even better fit as a partnership.
The release further stated that Jamie Stewart, Commercial Director of Hero CPL said: “We are very happy to welcome Sunshine Snacks nuts into the Hero CPL fold. Nuts are a great healthy snack for both players looking for energy and fan’s enjoying the game – we look forward to a power-packed CPL.”
The Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) is a franchise-based T20 format cricket tournament that combines two of the most compelling aspects of Caribbean life – dramatic cricket and a vibrant Carnival atmosphere. Over 149 million fans watched the 2016 season, combining broadcast and digital viewership, to make it one of the fastest growing leagues in world cricket. Jamaica Tallawahs are the current Hero CPL champions and the other competing teams are Barbados Tridents, Guyana Amazon Warriors, St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots, St. Lucia Stars and Trinbago Knight Riders. The 2017 tournament will run from 4 August – 9 September 2017.
