The semifinal and final of the Foreign Ministry/ Government Agencies Super six tape ball cricket competition will be on today at the National Cultural Centre tarmac from 9:00h.
The semifinal clashes will feature Ministry of Education, Department of Sport against Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). The winner will play against Ministry of Agriculture, National Drainage and Irrigation Authority (NDIA) team in the final for James “The Sport Ambassador” trophy.
Immediately after that final, another competition will bowl off where teams will compete for the Innovative Engineering Consultancy Services trophy.
So far the teams registered are Ministry of Education, Transport and Harbour, Ministry of Agriculture, CJIAC, Demerara Harbour Bridge, Guysuco, Region 4 RDC, PSM, Enmore RDC, Supreme Court Marshals and Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the host team.
Teams are reminded that they must pay their $6,000 entrance fee before the start of competition.
