Suriname’s President Chandrikapersad Santokhi will travel to Guyana tomorrow to attend the inauguration of President Irfaan Ali’s inauguration.
He will be accompanied by his wife and Foreign Affairs Minister Albert Ramdin.
Santokhi told The National Assembly that he will leave Saturday morning and return Sunday afternoon. In the context of good neighborly relations, the Head of State has considered accepting the invitation.
The Surinamese Head of State will also hold bilateral talks with Guyana and Caribbean leaders.
