A man charged with wounding following an alleged assault on a woman has been granted bail. James Campbell, a swimming coach, appeared on Friday before Senior Magistrate Leron Daly at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts.
The 54-year-old man pleaded not guilty to the charge which alleged that on August 25 in the Georgetown Magisterial District, he unlawfully and maliciously inflicted grievous bodily harm on Roseann Chow. He was released on $60,000 bail.
Campbell, a father of two, was also bonded to keep the peace.
His case has been adjourned until September 30. (G1)
