Taste Guyana on Wednesday announced the official launch of its expanded digital platform, positioning itself as Guyana’s premier destination for everything food, drink, and culinary culture.
Originally established in 2017 as a digital food magazine, Taste Guyana has evolved into a comprehensive culinary media ecosystem dedicated to celebrating the people, businesses, products, and traditions that define Guyanese cuisine. The relaunch marks a significant step forward in promoting the country’s rich culinary heritage while supporting the continued growth of its food and hospitality industries.
At the heart of the platform is Taste Guyana Magazine, a premium digital publication featuring chef profiles, restaurant features, authentic recipes, food history, product spotlights, culinary tourism, and stories that celebrate the diverse cultural influences behind Guyanese cuisine.
The expanded ecosystem also introduces several new initiatives designed to connect consumers, businesses, and creators: Food & Dining Directory; Made in Guyana; Culinary Creators Network; recipes; and events.
“Taste Guyana is more than a food website,” the founder of Taste Guyana, Dionne Jones, stated while adding that “our vision is to create a platform that celebrates every part of Guyana’s culinary landscape – from the farmers who grow our ingredients and the manufacturers who create locally made products to the chefs, restaurants, creators, and entrepreneurs who continue to shape our food culture. We want Taste Guyana to become the definitive home of Guyanese cuisine, both locally and throughout the diaspora.”
The platform also offers businesses new opportunities to reach an engaged audience through advertising, sponsored content, featured listings, product showcases, and strategic brand partnerships. By combining editorial storytelling with business promotion, Taste Guyana aims to support the continued growth of Guyana’s food and tourism sectors while preserving the culinary traditions that make the country unique.
The inaugural digital edition of Taste Guyana Magazine is scheduled for release in November 2026, featuring exclusive stories, restaurant features, recipes, and the debut of Flavours of Our Heritage, a six-part series exploring the culinary contributions of Guyana’s six peoples.
Food lovers, culinary professionals, manufacturers, restaurants, and content creators are invited to explore the platform, join the growing community, and become part of Guyana’s evolving food story.
