A Zeelugt, East Bank Essequibo man was on Tuesday evening killed during a robbery at Tuschen Housing Scheme.
Dead is Roland Jodie called Vishaul, a taxi driver. Reports are that the 24-year-old man was hired by two men to take them aback the Tuschen Housing Scheme. However, Jodie was later discovered with two gunshot wounds and was rushed to the West Demerara Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead on arrival. While details are sketchy, this newspaper was told that Police are investigating the incident with robbery as the motive.
