Taxi driver on bail for wrecking car

A taxi driver who reportedly damaged a motorcar was on Monday released on ,000 bail when he appeared before Magistrate Judy Latchman to answer to a charge of damage to property.
Gavin Henry denied that between February 17 and February 18, 2017, at Sheriff Street, Georgetown, he unlawfully and maliciously damaged one motor car windshield and the left side front and back light; property of Virtual Complainant (VC) Selwyn Williams.
The 60-year-old man of Lamaha Gardens, Georgetown, informed the court that he is a father of one and has never had any previous antecedents or pending matters before the court. The case will continue on July 14.
