A 32-year-old taxi driver of North Slip, Sparendaam, East Coast Demerara (ECD), on Tuesday appeared before Magistrate Clive Nurse at the Sparendaam Magistrates’ Courts to answer two charges of larceny of cattle.
Godfrey Liverpool pleaded not guilty to both charges. He was granted bail in the sum of $250,000 on each count.
The charges stem from incidents reported by 63-year-old businessman Sheikh Rahaman of LBI, ECD. The alleged offences occurred on September 1 and 2, 2025.
The matter has been adjourned to January 5, 2026.
