As the cycling season winds down, the penultimate race of the season will be Team Alanis circuit race which includes a 20-lap senior race around the outer circuit of the National Park.
The event will ride off from 12:30h and include races in the BMX category with a 400m sprint as well as a four-lap mountain bike race before turning over to the Junior, Masters and Seniors race, a 20-lap ride.
The payouts are for the seniors 1st-6th place paying $40,000, $30,000, $23,000, $16,000 and $10,000 respectively while juniors will have $16,000,$14,000 and $10,000 respectively for the 1st-3rd prize.
In the veterans category there will be the same payout as in the juniors class while Mountain bike payout from 1st-3rd are $8,000, $6,000 and $4,000 respectively.
There will be 10 prime prizes at $2,000 each and trophies for BMX 6-9 years, BMX 9-12 years and BMX 12-14 years. These BMX riders and the younger riders will be using this race to gauge their competition before taking part in the National Schools cycling Championship on Monday, building their stamina and momentum.
Team Gillette Evolution will be looking to Orville Hinds and Michael Anthony to represent them and lead the team while extending their lead on the points table while Team Cocos should see Hamza Eastman and Stephano Husbands lead the team and move up a few places in the absence of Raynauth Jeffrey.
There will also be keen competition from Three-Stage winner, Shaquel Agard, Continental Rider, Geron Williams and a recently returned Alanzo Greaves.
