Teen charged with possession of ammunition

18-year-old Mark Singh, a resident of Kaneville, East Bank Demerara, was arrested last Tuesday and arraigned on Friday before Principal Magistrate Sunil Scarce at the Diamond/Golden Grove Magistrate Court on an illegal possession of ammunition charge.

When the charge was read to him, Singh entered a not guilty plea to possession of ammunition (one 9mm round of ammunition) without a licence, and he has been remanded to prison until October 31.
