The minibus that was reportedly involved in the accident

According to initial enquiries, the minibus was proceeding south along the eastern side of the Moblissa Public Road at an alleged fast rate of speed when, while negotiating a left bend, the driver reportedly lost control of the vehicle.
The vehicle subsequently turned turtle several times before ending up on the eastern parapet. Both the driver and Simon were picked up in an unconscious condition by public-spirited citizens and transported to the Linden Hospital Complex. Simon was pronounced dead on arrival, while the driver was admitted as a patient. Her body was later transferred to the Linden Senior Citizens Association Funeral Home, where it awaits a post-mortem examination (PME). Police said the minibus has been lodged for examination as investigations continue.
