A 19-year-old father of one was on Friday charged and released on ,000 bail when he denied a charge before Magistrate Sunil Scarce which stated that he had in his possession seven grams of cannabis.
Zayn Jarris’ lawyer in a bail application told the court that on June 20, 2017, at James Street, Albouystown, Georgetown, Police raided the premises in which there were some 20 persons and found a quantity of leaves, stems and seeds suspected to be cannabis. Bail was granted in these circumstances and Jarris is expected to return to court on July 28.
