Nineteen-year-old Travis Lyken of Lot MM Bent Street, Wortmanville, Georgetown was shot to his left leg by someone during Phagwah celebrations in James Street Albouystown Georgetown on Friday.
The teen was reportedly with his friend in the crowded James Street when he felt a burning sensation to his leg, and upon checking, he realized that he had been shot.
He was rushed to the Georgetown Public Hospital, where he underwent an emergency surgery and is presently in stable condition.
The Police now have an uphill task to identify the shooter as they continue their investigations.
