Adrian John, 19, of Gold Mine, Matthews Ridge, Region One (Barima-Waini) appeared before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan on Thursday at the Georgetown Magistrates’ Courts to answer to a charge of murder.
It is alleged that on Thursday, September 8, 2016 at Perseverance Backdam, he murdered Mervile Williams.
The teenager was not allowed to enter a plea in the indictable matter. The matter was transferred to the Matthews Ridge Magistrate’s Court where the defendant will appear on October 3, 2016.
