Teen slapped with noise nuisance charge, granted $200,000 bail

A 19-year-old technician of Adventure, Essequibo Coast, Region Two (Pomeroon-Supenaam) has been charged with making loud and continuous noises contrary to Section 174 (1) (a) of the Summary Jurisdiction Offences Act, Chapter 8:02.
The charge against Tushar Arjune stems from an incident involving a 52-year-old truck driver of Adventure, Essequibo Coast. The offence allegedly occurred on February 14. Arjune appeared before the Anna Magistrate’s Court on Friday, where the matter was heard by Magistrate Ravindra Mohabir. The charge was read to him, and he pleaded not guilty and bail was granted in the sum of $200,000.
The case was adjourned to March 6.
