For one night only, Guyana’s number on satire “Best of Nothing to Laugh About” will be held at the Giftland Mall on Sunday evening.
The show will comprise some of the best skits the show has produced over the past 10 years in the entertainment business. Earlier this year, the tenth edition of the show rocked the National Cultural Centre with four sold-out shows, but by popular demand, the theatrical presentation was taken to several locations out of Georgetown.
The show is as serious as it is funny and brings to the fore, issues that are of critical importance to the country. As always, the show will spare no one, there is no vindictiveness but just taking funny potshots at everyone.
The cast for this one-night production is headed by Lyndon “Jumbie” Jones and will comprise Michael Ignatius, Kirwyn Mars, Chris Gopaul, Clemencio Goddette, Leza “Radika” Singh, Mark “Chine man” Kazim, Marisa Morgan, Gerard Gilkes, Simone Persaud, Alana Craigen, Leon Cummings, Johann David, Mark Luke Edwards and Brian Goodman.
The stage manager is the competent, Sonia Yarde.
On the night of the show, the franchise will also launch its DVDs with all the shows that group has done thus far and those dvds will be available at a cost of $1000.
Meanwhile, patrons are advised to be on time as the show will begin at 20:00h (8pm) sharp. Tickets cost $1500 for general admission and $3000 for the VIP seating. Children will pay $500.
The tickets can be uplifted at Payless Variety Store, Gizmos & Gadgets, Nigel’s Supermarket, Giftland, Igloo outlet (Providence) and Sir Kirwyn Mars. NO dress code will be in effect.
