Events unfolding at the Guyana Elections Commission are a clear indication that the GECOM/APNU/AFC cabal responsible for the destruction of electoral democracy in Guyana remains in control of the election machinery.
Retired Justice Claudette Singh voted with the APNU Commissioners in favour of not setting aside the declarations, particularly the one made by Mingo, which has been discredited and deemed fraudulent.
Retired Justice Claudette Singh voted with the APNU Commissioners in favour of not allowing the recount to be live-streamed, thereby allowing all Guyanese and the world to observe the process.
Retired Justice Claudette Singh voted with the APNU Commissioners in favour of not having an independent auditor, appointed by the Commission, oversee the recount, thereby ensuring the highest level of credibility of results.
The evidence shows that Retired Justice Claudette Singh voted with the APNU Commissioners to block every measure proposed that would add another layer of transparency and credibility to the process. The big question is, why?
The answer is simple but chilling. Retired Justice Claudette Singh is a party to the glaring and continuing attempts to subvert the will of the Guyanese people.
The recount will be a farce if international pressure is not brought to bear now on the conspirators of this dastardly scheme.
