The search is on for a new Miss World Guyana

The search in on for the new Miss Guyana World (MWG) and as such, Majesty International, the franchise holder for the Miss World Guyana pageant will be holding its annual casting call to allow young women ages the ages of 17 to 25 to vie for the prestigious title.
Open auditions will be held on March 17 at Alex Foster Hall, Rose Hall, Berbice from 13:00h; March 18 at Watooka House, Linden from 11:00h; and March 24 at Gravity Lounge in Georgetown, from 13:00h.
Free photo sessions and training tips on the competition will be provided.
Eligible participants unable to attend the open auditions can visit the official website at missworldguyana.gy or the franchise Facebook page: Miss World Guyana Org and register online before March 28.
The Miss World Guyana competition consists of multiple categories such as Beauty with a Purpose, Sports and Fitness, Talent, Multimedia and Top Model all while displaying style and grace.
It is designed to promote young women with diverse talents and abilities while developing their self-esteem, public speaking, interactive skills and personal attributes that will assist them throughout their lives.
Additionally, the competition fosters strong values, community involvement and promotes successfully oriented women. The organisation believes that by supporting role models of today, it will strengthen their collective tomorrows.
In an effort to ensure that Guyana is represented by the very best candidate, MWG seeks to increase its pool of applicants by making few major changes that will make participation more accessible to potential candidates both in and out of Guyana.
