…10 to vie for Miss Jamzone title
The Annual event Jamzone kickstarts at the Kingston Beachfront on Sunday, July 31, 2022 with a day filled with beach games, bikinis, frolic, performances from local artistes, the winner of the Jamzone Song Competition, and over $3 million in cash and other prizes to be won.
The Miss Jamzone delegates will also be on stage, showcasing their ‘fantasy swimwear’.
This year, the delegates will be judged in their National Costume, Talent Costume and Swimwear at the National Cultural Centre later in August.
The delegates of the pageant were selected from a bevy of young women. This year’s contestants will focus heavily on tourism, with each delegate representing a township.
The aim of the pageant is to create opportunities for tourism, promote societal connections, and encourage self-confidence among young women. With delegates currently being trained in every area, including modelling techniques, public speaking, and diet and fitness, the queen will walk away with a motor car, while the first and second runners-up will receive $500,000 and $250,000 respectively.
An early bird ticket for the Jamzone Beach Day costs $2000, and tickets are now available at HJ Box Office, That Look Boutique, StoveTop Restaurant, Fireside Grill N Chill, Exclusive Styles, Shop and Save, and White Castle Fish Shop.
