Home News Third time rape accused released on $100,000 bail
A Tucville man, who was charged earlier in the year for raping two women reappeared in the Georgetown Magistrates’ Court for the third time before Chief Magistrate Ann McLennan to answer to another rape charge.
Thurston Semple is accused of having sexual intercourse with a 30-year-old woman without her consent.
According to facts presented, on August 31, 2017 at Quamina Street, Georgetown, he engaged in sexual penetration with the woman.
It is alleged that he met the woman on the said night at a popular night club on Main Street, Georgetown.
He subsequently began talking to the woman before calling a taxi and taking her to a city hotel where the incident took place.
Semple was released on $100,000 and is expected to return to court on April 17.
