…power company blames GTT Internet for disruption
Thousands of customers using the Guyana Power and Light (GPL) prepaid meter service will not be able to access it through external vendors since the service had been temporarily disrupted due to technical difficulties.
The power company on Wednesday said the unplanned disruption rendered
prepaid agents unable to generate prepaid JUICE tokens or redeem prepaid JUICE cards. This is said to affect over 1000 families across Guyana
The company noted that GTT and GPL are working assiduously on the disruption to successfully restore the connection in a timely manner. Only 25 of its vendors countrywide will have tokens available.
