Chaos ensues at DHB
Chaos ensued for hours on Monday at the Demerara Harbour Bridge (DHB) where commuters were left stranded reportedly as a result of an accident on the DHB involving two trucks. Long lines of vehicles – as many as five lanes deep in some areas, were seen along the East Bank road leading up to the DHB Monday evening as thousands of frustrated commuters try to get over the bridge to their homes in West Demerara.
