Three foreign nationals are in a police custody after they were discovered in an illegal aircraft in Region 7 (Cuyuni- Mazaruni).
Police say that the aircraft was discovered at 9 Miles, Issano.
The foreign nationals told police that they were headed for neighbouring Suriname when their aircraft developed mechanical issues. They were forced to land.
They have since been taken into custody with the aircraft under police guard.
