“THRILL ME 2” promises top-class riding today

The second edition of the Berbice ride, dubbed “Thrill Me”, gets underway at 05:00h today in front of the Sheriff Medical Centre, Sheriff Street, Georgetown.
The bikers will start the race at Sheriff Street and will head to the Berbice Bridge before making their way back to the starting line for the finish.
The event will see scores of cyclists in various categories taking part in the event aimed at showcasing unity, endurance, and fellowship.
However, there will be checkpoints and pit stops where cyclists will pause to refuel and refresh along the East Coast corridor. There will also be medical personnel following the race, as well as extra tubes if necessary.
It is the hope of the organisers that cyclists will push their limits, build fitness, and, more importantly, set personal goals. “The ride promises good vibes, strong legs, and even stronger bonds within the cycling fraternity,” the organisers stated in a Facebook post.
The event is open to all cyclists, especially those who are looking to build their endurance ahead of a packed 2026 season. The event is set to ride off at daybreak.
