Wrestling fans will have another opportunity to watch their favourite wrestlers vie against each other for supremacy at an event called “Thunda in Guyana”, to be held at the Cliff Anderson Sport Hall on May 27.
Patrons will definitely be in for a treat as the promoters are trying to make the event a photocopy of what is seen on National Television. Flairs, fireworks, smoke and streamers, among other things, will add to the excitement.
On the night of the event, there will be two title matches. The first will see Shannon “the Cannon” Ritch take on Dan “The Beast” Severn, while the other will feature Tasha Steelz versus Deonna Purrazzo. In the other matches, Tita will come up against Damian Adams, and Tyrus will challenge Mr. 450.
The referee for the evening will be The New Boss; and tickets for this showdown will be available over the Easter weekend at a cost of $4000 for ringside, $1500 for stands and $7000 for VIP seating.
Tickets will be available at Giftland Mall, Nex Generation Promotion at Cummings Street, and at other locations that will be made known in due course. Thunda in Guyana is promoted by Maximum Sports Combat and Strength in collaboration with Nex Generation Promotions.
