Ticketmaster Travel Agency supports GCB 75th anniversary raffle

Ticketmaster Travel Agency, a popular travel agency in Georgetown, has joined corporate Guyana in support of the Guyana Cricket Board (GCB) grand fundraising raffle for its 75th anniversary, in aid of youth and female cricket development, which was launched in April 2018.

The Travel Agency is sponsoring a return ticket to New York, the fourth prize.
The GCB was officially formed in 1943 and is currently celebrating its 75th year of existence or diamond anniversary. The raffle was the very first activity planned for the celebration, and is being overseen by Anand Kalladeen, Raj Singh, and Anand Sanasie. The GCB also held a prayer breakfast at the GCC Members Pavilion in May 2018. Other activities are planned for the remainder of the year.
There will be eight very attractive prizes raffled off at the final drawing. The first and second prizes take care of your transportation woes, an awesome motor car will be the first prize, with a beautiful Jialing motorcycle as the second prize, which is sponsored by Marics & Co. The third prize is a 60-inch television set.
The fourth prize, return airfare to New York, carries a special condition – it does not include a visa but it is anticipated that the ticket holder can either obtain a visa on his/her own or the GCB and the sponsor may be flexible to agree to a transfer of the ticket to a relative or friend of the winner.
The fifth prize is a beautiful gold necklace, which is sponsored by popular jewellery establishment, Steve’s Jewellery. The sixth prize is an Acer laptop computer, which is sponsored by SPR Enterprises located on Brickdam, Stabroek, Georgetown.
The seventh prize is a return trip for two to Kaieteur Falls, which is sponsored by Roraima, a member of the Roraima Group of Companies. The eighth prize is a day trip for two to one of our most exotic resorts, Arrowpoint Nature Resort.
Raffle tickets have been priced very inexpensively at just $200 per ticket and are very conveniently distributed in books of 25 for an even $5000. The final drawing is set for November 17, 2018.
Tickets will be on sale at the Providence National Stadium during the two ODIs between the West Indies and Bangladesh, so be on the lookout for our ticket vendors. Tickets are on sale at specified outlets around the country and from any executive member of the GCB.
