Tiger Bay females and North Ruimveldt males claimed the titles of the Guyana Police Force’s (GPF’s) 5-a-side youth football tournament which was contested at the National Gymnasium on Sunday.

There were just three teams in the female championship, hence it was run in a round-robin format. Tiger Bay demolished Albouystown 9-0 in the final to take top honours, while Mocha had to settle for third.
Meanwhile, nine teams also competed in the male tournament, and North Ruimveldt defeated Albouystown 2-1 in the final.
Also vying for the title were teams Mocha, East Ruimveldt, Timehri, Tiger Bay, North La Penitence, East La Penitence, and a combined Ruimveldt.
The top teams were awarded for their performances, while individual awards were also up for grabs.
