“Pandit” Haresh Tiwari flexed his skills on the Greens this past Saturday as he emerged winner of the 2017 Farm Supplies Inc. Golf tournament played at the Lusignan Golf Club.

Tiwari, who dominated the last six holes ended with a Gross 82 and Net 64, barely beating off second place Deano Bissessar who recorded a 92 Gross and 64 Net. Nearest to the pin was won by third place “Pastor’ Balgobin Ragnauth who did a 93/68 on the Fairways while Best Gross went to Canadian visitor Jaipaul Suknanan with 80.
Farm Supplies CEO Renger van Dijk, who presented the trophies, expressed their delight in contributing to the development of golf in Guyana. He also indicated their willingness to continue.
Meanwhile, acting President Brian Hackett, on behalf of the Club, warmly received Farm Supplies participation and gratefully noted their contributions not only in sponsoring tournaments but also in donating valuable equipment.
