Traffic violator fined $60,000

A 32-year-old Lindener was fined ,000 on Tuesday when he appeared before Magistrate Clive Nurse at the Linden Magistrate’s Court, charged for two traffic violations.
Winston Scotland drove a motor car bearing licence plate number PVV 4004 on Republic Avenue at Mackenzie, Linden, on July 9, 2016 while being an unlicensed driver and while a policy of insurance was not in force for the said car. He was fined ,000 for both offences. Failure to pay the fine will result in four weeks’ imprisonment.
