Trophy stall donates 1st place trophy and goal nets

The Petra Organised Limacol Football Tournament has received a boost via the benevolence of Trophy Stall on Wednesday as Proprietor of Trophy Stall Ramesh Sunich donated the first place trophy and goal nets.
Speaking at the South Road and Bourda Street location, Sunich praised the organising body for the work they have done in the sport by raising it to a higher standard and as such he is pleased that his business can be associated with the organisation.

Co-Director of Petra Organisation, Troy Mendonca was most appreciative of the kind gesture and posited that the tournament helps to showcase the talent in teams that are not in the elite, with the aim of allowing them to hopefully elevate in the future.
The kick-off date is now set for January 23 at the Georgetown Football Club, (GFC), Bourda where Police Force FC will play Mahaica Determinators from 18:30h followed by Riddim Squad tackling Camptown from 20:30h.
The group of death seems to be the Group A which comprises of defending champions Milerock, top Linden side, Winners Connection, East Bank Champions, Grove Hi Tech and Northern Rangers.
Group B comprises of: Western Tigers, Uitvulgt, Eagles United and New Amsterdam United; Group C: Santos FC, Pouderoyen, Den Amstel and Ann’s Gove United and Group D: Police Force FC, Riddim Squad, Campton FC and Mahica Determinators
The top teams will complete for a $500,000 first place prize while second to third will receive $250,000, $125,000 and $75,000 respectively.
In addition, the top three teams in the groups will be rewarded $100,000, $50,000 and $20,000.
