The most-anticipated horse racing event of 2019 will kick off on January 6, 2019, so there are only two days remaining for all preparations to be completed. The Sky Plus Incorporated Promotion Group Horse Race will be held at Number 36 Village, Macedonia Estate, Corentyne.
On Sunday, the card will consist of seven races and over $4 million in cash, trophies and other incentives will be up for grabs, with over 35 horses competing thus far and more than 10 sponsors on board.
The Trophy Stall at Bourda Market, which is one of the leading trophy and engraving entities in Guyana, continues to make good on its many promises. The entity, with outlets now in Bourda Market, City Mall, South Road and soon to be opened in Port Mourant, Berbice, through its Managing Director, Ramesh Sunich, has made a significant contribution to the Nand Persaud Karibee Rice Mega Sprint Classic Horse Race Meet. The event is organised by the company’s Sky Plus Promotion Group. The Trophy Stall has consented to donate the Champion Jockey and Champion Trainer trophies along with other incentives for other outstanding participants on the day.
