Tucber Park, Rose Hall, Canje, congratulate U19 players on Inter-County selection

New Amsterdam/Canje-based cricket clubs Tucber Park and Rose Hall Canje Community Centre Ground continue to produce cricketers at all levels.
The two clubs recently saw nine Under-19 players gaining selection to the inter-county teams, playing for Berbice and the Guyana Cricket Board Select XI, respectively.
Tucber Park Cricket Club extended congratulations to Micah Amsterdam, Gilbert Griffith Jr, Antonio DePaul, and Thierry Henry on their selection in the Berbice Under-19 squad, while Jayhayden Rohleher will turn out for the GCB Select XI.
Meanwhile, Rose Hall Canje extended congratulations to Romario Ramdeholl on being appointed Captain of the Berbice team, and Adrian Hetmyer on being appointed Vice Captain.
Special congratulations were also extended to Michael Newland Jr on his maiden inter-county call-up. The young Newland will turn out for the Select XI.
The GCB Under-19 Inter-County bowls off today, Sunday, April 12, with Berbice taking on President’s XI at Police Sports Club while defending champions Demerara will square off against hosts Essequibo at the Jagmohan Ground.
