Two remanded for trafficking Venezuelan women

Guinness Bar on Princess Street, they trafficked five Venezuelan women ranging in age from 18 years to 22 years.
They are being represented by Attorney-at-Law Nigel Hughes.
Both defendants were arrested on January 5 when ranks from the Guyana Police Force (GPF) swooped down on the nightclub and detained 41 foreign nationals. At the time, Police had said that some of the persons were suspected to be in Guyana illegally, and they might be victims of human trafficking.
Narcotics were also found, and persons are also shortly expected to be charged with trafficking in narcotics.
