U-15 Jaguars beat St Lucia 1-0 in final group match
The National Boys Under-15 football team secured a 1-0 victory over St Lucia in their final group D match in the CONCACAF U-15 men’s football tournament being held in Miami, Florida. However, the result was not enough to help them progress to challenge for a title bid.
Playing at the IMG Academy, the unit registered their first win of the round over the Island team thanks to an Omari Glasgow strike in the 55th. They had earlier lost Suriname 3-1 in the second game with the first fixture being a 1-1 draw with St. Kitts 1-1.
The starting line-up featured Shawn Adonis (GK), Jermaine Padmore, Troni Semple, Okifi Patoir, Joshua Braithwaite, 6. Marcus Wilson, Tyrel Khan, Isiah James, Orville Daniels, Glasgow and Jermaine Garrett.
