U-17 Lady Jags play against B/dos today as CONCACAF Qualifiers begin

Having been encamped for two weeks prior to today’s kickoff Guyana’s National U-17 Females’ team will be in action today as they play the first of three CONCACAF Caribbean Female U17 Qualifiers scheduled for August 9 – 13, 2017 at the Leonora Track and Field Facility, West Coast Demerara.
The team is made up of female footballers from Kwakwani, Lethem Orealla, West Coast Demerara and Georgetown with one overseas-based player.
Guyana is hosting Group D of the qualifiers and will be expecting stiff competition from Barbados and Cuba.
The U-17 Lady Jags will face Barbados in the first game today with the kick-off scheduled for 17:00hrs while Barbados will clash with Cuba on Friday (August 11) and on Sunday (August 13) Guyana will come up against Cuba; all games will begin at the same time and admission to the games are free.
