Tradition will be broken during the finals day of the seventh edition of the annual Guyana Softball Cup scheduled for this Sunday at the Demerara Cricket Club (DCC) ground.

The exciting softball tournament will be contested in two categories; Male Masters and Male All-Stars beginning on Friday November 3 at venues across the city.
In addition to the finals in those two categories, the final of the female 4-team exhibition tournament will also be staged and for the first time at the major softball tournament; a hardball match will be played when Blairmont and Georgetown Cricket Club U13 teams battle for supremacy.
In previous editions of the Guyana Softball Cup, there were two female semi-finals and the final to go along with the two male finals but the first ever the Well-Teen, Trophy Stall, Tropical Springs and Nauth Motor Spares under 13 finals will be played taking the number of finals to four.
The first final of the day will be between the top female teams beginning at 10:00h followed by the U13 final at 11:45h which will make way for the Masters final at 15:00h.
The All-Stars final will begin at 18:00h followed by the presentation ceremony to bring the curtains down on the tournament.
Admission to the finals is $1,000 for adults while children 14 years and under will be admitted free. Spectators are urged to keep their half ticket and listen for their numbers to be called while at the ground.
