Writing music and poems are not just hobbies for “The Olive” but also a mean of activism for self-growth and a platform to cope with the struggles of depression and anxiety.
“Many people don’t know this but every day is a constant battle to stay afloat in a river of emotions but I use my gifts as a reminder to myself that I’m here for a purpose which includes inspiring people like me who also struggle,” she noted.
She is currently an advocate for women empowerment and is part of the ‘Girl Build Girl’ movement spearheaded by Gabriella Chapman.
The #letsTalkWithGabby blogs will feature young girls with various struggles and recommendations to overcome.
