Organised by the New Opportunity Core (NOC) Sports Club, the V-Net Communications sponsored Super 10 Cricket Competition will bring a wealth of stars from the Cinderella County on April 28 at the Golden Fleece ground.
V-Net who brandishes themselves as the “home of Satellite Communications in Guyana” at their 25 Delph Street Campbellville location, will be sending their V-Net Vipers to compete. The Vipers unit will be led by lanky fast-bowler Siddiq Mohamed and much will be expected from the likes of Kemol Savoury , Kevon Boodie, Raun Johnson Anthony Adams and star batsman Safraz Sherifudeen, who, if gets going can certainly provide some fireworks for his large Wakenaam following.
It is understood a South All-Star team and one possibly from Leguan will be in the mix. The organisers assured there will be a minimal of four teams.
Based on information reaching this publication only trophies and the long-lasting bragging rights are up for grabs currently but the organisers explained they are working assiduously to have some lucrative cash prizes for players. Match time is 09:00h.
