The ‘biggest party in sport’ in finally here, with four exciting matches at the Guyana National Stadium, Providence, East Bank Demerara over the weekend and culminate on Tuesday.
The games started last evening and will continue on Saturday with the Guyana Amazon Warrior (GAW) taking on the Trinbago Knight Riders at 12:00h.
Then on Sunday, the GAW will play the Barbados Tridents also at 18:00h and the final match is set for Tuesday, with the home side coming up against the St Lucia Stars at 18:00h. 
However, after the games there will definitely be the after parties at the various night clubs. One of such party is titled, “Return of the Champion” at Guyana’s Premier Party Spot, Palm Court, Main Street, Georgetown on Saturday, August 19.
The much anticipated concept party will feature Tribago’s Captain, Dwayne J Bravo, who is known not just for his vocal anilities but also his excellent dance moves and his ability to work a console.
This party is expected to be “jammed” with cricketers, as several regional teams are her for the Hero Caribbean Premier League. Apart from the live performance by DJ Bravo, DJ Ana out of the twin island republic will be heating up the dance floor and keeping patrons entertained. In addition, Guyana’s own Gully Ras out of Fusion Family as well as Selector Diamond and the Boom deejays will be in the house. Admission to the event is $3000 at the gate and $2000 in advance. Gates open at 20:00h. The event is promoted by V-Net and sponsored by HJ Entertainment, Bank DIH Limited, Winsor Estates and others.
