Kelvin Andrews of Kitty, Georgetown was on Monday remanded to prison by Magistrate Judy Latchman after he denied stealing $11,200 worth of vegetables from the business premises of Harry Narine at Alexander Street, Kitty.
The charge alleges that the 25-year-old was caught on CCTV camera stealing the fruits and vegetables belonging to Harry Narine.
The court was informed that Andrews is presently on $60,000 bail for a break-and-enter and larceny charge.
He will make another court appearance today.
