He is called the ‘King of the Dancehall’ for a reason and he would have certainly lived up to all the expectations as he wound into the New Year with one of his vintage performances at Guyana’s number one party spot, Palm Court.
Taking the stage just after 02:00h, the Jamaican super star roused the festive and large crowd with all of his hits from yester-year in close to an hour of stage time. The early down pour of rain did not the stop the revellers in their traditional classy New Year attire from being engrossed in the frolics.
Though the event had two different sections, it was an all-inclusive fete to commence 2018 with the action going past sunrise. After the music went down, patrons were treated to breakfast.
The party brought to an end the high octane Christmas season by the night spot, since it brought the likes of King Bubba, Destra, Skinny Fabulous and Nailah Blackan; all leading up to the final live performance by Beenie Man as the wash down.
