Residents and businesses in Vreed-en-Hoop on the West Coast Demerara (WCD) have become the latest to access GTT’s Fibre internet service, as the telecommunications company continues to roll out fibre broadband technology throughout the country.

GTT’s promise to “reliably connect our customers” continues to be realised as the company delivers to home customers, its GTT Fibre product, in an effort to connect 10,000 new homes in 2021, providing subscribers with more bandwidth and better reliability at better prices.
In September, the company unveiled its GTT Fibre service as a major upgrade to the former Blaze service, offering significant increases in upload and download speeds and reliable connectivity at reduced rates. Now Adding to the list of Fibre-ready areas, Vreed-en-Hoop will benefit from on-the-spot installations beginning December 3, 2021.

He noted that the company was happy to bring Fibre to the residents and businesses of Vreed-en-Hoop, joining consumers on the west side that already enjoy the service including those in Bagotville, La Grange, La Parfaite Harmonie, La Retraite, Nismes, Onderneeming Phase 1, Recht door Zee, Schoonord, Toevlugt, West Minster, Parika, and Ruschen.
With the new residential plans of Fibre50, Fibre100, and Fibre150, customers in Vreed-en-Hoop can apply for the service at a cost of $8999, $10,999, or $12,999 respectively. As part of GTT’s Christmas promotion, customers will get free installation and the first month. There are also special offers for GTT’s DSL customers making the switch to GTT Fibre!
Each service comes with a fixed voice line.
Business customers will also benefit from the BizFibre service with plans ranging from Biz50, Biz100, and Biz500, starting as low as $14,999.
GTT promises to continue its Fibre expansion to new areas and will make further announcements on the company’s social platforms.
