As plans are moving apace for the hosting of Guyana Carnival 2019, there are some big names and events that have been added to make the event more spectacular this time around.
One such event is W.E.T. Wednesday featuring the Monk of Soca, Machel Montano which is set for Wednesday, May 22 at the National Park.
Montano is no stranger to Guyana and has delivered to his fans. This time around, expect one of the most energetic performances by the King of Soca. Sharing the stage with Montano are reigning local Soca Monarch, Mr Killa and Guyana’s own, Jumo Primo.
Both Mr Killa and Primo are known to set the stage on fire and the Guyana Carnival Committee is making sure that happens. It will be a night of nonstop entertainment and high-class performances. Patrons are reminded that it will be a wet affair so come prepared for a full jouvert party.
Setting the pace for the evening will be DJ Shizzle, Patrick The Hypeman, DJ Jay and DJ Just Jay.
