Wanted man nabbed with cocaine at Leguan

A 24-year-old Leguan man, who was wanted by Police, was nabbed with 20 grams of cocaine.
Reports indicate the Police was tipped off that the wanted man, Melroy Moore, was a passenger in a speedboat enroute to Leguan Island, Essequibo River. As such, a party of Policemen went to Success Sea dam and waited for the arrival of the boat. Upon seeing the Police, Moore hurried off the boat and attempted to run but the ranks gave chase and nabbed him.
A subsequent search on his person revealed a transparent plastic bag containing a substance suspected to be cocaine in his right-side pants pocket. He was taken to the Leguan Police Station where the suspected cocaine was weighed in his presence and amounted to 20 grams.
Moore was reportedly wanted for an offence similar in nature.
