Home Sports Warriors begin preparation ahead of CPL 2021
The local arm of the Guyana Amazon Warriors (GAW) team has begun its training ahead of the 2021 season of the Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL).
This publication was able to confirm that 90% of the franchise’s Guyanese players have been building up their preparation at the National Stadium, Providence.
With just two weeks to go before the start of this year’s edition of the regional tournament, the Warriors’ outfit is reportedly training with a local coach, since the Head and Assistant Coaches are currently on other duties.
Of the team’s 16 players, Shimron Hetmyer, Romario Shepherd, Anthony Bramble, Chandrapaul Hemraj, Ashmead Nedd, Kevin Sinclair, Nial Smith and Gudakesh Motie are the locals on board for the Warriors in 2021.
Guyana Times Sport will provide our readers with a more in-depth report on the GAW preparation in the ensuing days.
