Warriors Coach Roger Harper hails impact of proud Guyana public for CPL 2016
The Hero Caribbean Premier League (CPL) are delighted to announce that the Ticket Offices at Guyana CPL
Office, Corner Camp and Quamina Streets in Georgetown will open today.
The Ticket Offices will be open for business from Monday to Saturday during normal working hours (9am-6pm) to enable fans to physically buy their tickets in advance for the biggest party in sport this summer.
Supporters can already buy tickets online at www.cplt20.com and are urged to buy in advance to avoid disappointment.
The Warriors will be aiming to lift their inaugural CPL title this year and will face Jamaica Tallawahs in their first home fixture on Thursday, 7 July and will play a mix of day and night games between 7 – 12 July.
Roger Harper, Head Coach of Guyana Amazon Warriors, said: “The CPL is now just a few weeks away and there’s great excitement from everyone within the organisation.
Guyana supporters are incredibly proud of their team and their support on match days makes Providence Stadium one of the greatest fortresses in the Caribbean. To help us achieve success on the field this year we need big crowds and we are going to try our best to play our part and aim to give our public a team to be proud of. I hope to see as many fans as possible again this year.”

St. Kitts & Nevis Patriots (12:00 Hrs), 10 July – Trinbago Knight Riders (19:00 Hrs), 12 July – St. Lucia Zouks (19:00 Hrs).
The fourth edition of the tournament opens on June 29 when Trinbago Knight Riders host the St. Lucia Zouks at the Queen’s Park Oval from 21:00 Hrs.
The Guyana Amazon Warriors open their 2016 campaign on the road to the St. Kitts and Nevis Patriots at Warner Park on Thursday June 30 at 20:00 Hrs. The Trinbago Knight Riders are the defending champions.
