WBD bus driver get $50,000 bail on dangerous driving charge

Minibus driver Ramkumar Persaud appeared on Thursday before Wales Magistrate Dylon Bess and denied a dangerous driving charge.
Police have accused the La Parfaite Harmonie, West Bank Demerara resident of driving minibus BTT 3118 on the Schoonord Public Road, West Bank Demerara in a manner dangerous to the public on February 3, 2018.
In his application to be placed on bail, the 44-year-old driver told the court that he has had no other brushes with the law. As such, he was placed on bail in the sum of $50,000, and will return to court on September 13, 2018 in connection with this matter.
